This feels similar to the first bite of a warm cookie fresh out of the oven or the first bite of a greasy fully loaded burger. I’ve been waiting for this for awhile, debating if it was necessary, debating the budget required for it. This is definitely what I’d call the first bite into rebooting the company!
I want to thank everyone that helped out with this rebrand of CookieBytes! To those that helped provide reviews and those who created this new site, thank you! A quick shout out to Digital Designs of Saginaw, Michigan. You put this together in just over two weeks while dealing with me calling every day to check in, very impressive. When I was just a child, dreaming of working with computers, I did not expect to be this happy, this early on.
Getting this upgrade started definitely proved to be quite a process. To start, I needed the Google Maps Location updated. This involves asking for a postcard from Google to verify the business address, getting the postcard, only to find, that the verification site doesn’t work. Good luck trying to find a contact number for Google support to avoid going through the postcard process again. After a few calls to finally become verified, the Google Business Listing was complete.
With that finally up to date, the logo created, and the site up and running with just a few tweaks needed, I’m ready to go.
A big thank you goes to my sister as well. The support throughout all of life’s ups and downs means millions to me. I’m going to just enjoy this first bite for a bit before taking the second.
